Value Education in CBSE Schools
Central
Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) is continuously stressing
inculcation of values among students. The Board brought out a handbook for teachers
on Value Education in the year 1997 and again in 2003. The School based
Assessment Scheme launched by CBSE has a component on co-scholastic
areas of Life-Skills, Attitude and Values and other co-curricular
activities. The National Council for Educational Research and Training (NCERT) also brought out a Framework on ‘Education for Values in Schools’ which emphasizes on the moral education for children. The Council for the
Indian School Certificate Examinations (CISCE) stipulates that schools
affiliated to it are required to assess students in ‘Education in Moral
and Spiritual Values’ upto Class X.
This information was given by Shri Dr. D. Purandeswari, Minister of State for Human Resource in written reply to a question in Rajya Sabha.

divisional super of Howrah Division vide his memo no. B7/RECTT/PA Cadre
from GDS/Outsider Quota/Howrah Dn./2010-2011 Dtd.16.08.2012. As per the
content of that memo,all eligible GDS officials have to submit their
willingness for this said exam.through their concerned
SDIP,ASPOS,SR.PM,HOWRAH H.O. ,PM,SHALKIA H.O. All the willingness
received from the eligible GDS employees should be forwarded to the
divisional office within 27.08.2012 positively with required
attestations & recommendation for supplying the OMG application kit.

HOWRAH DN. : 1 (OC). TOTAL = 1 (ONE).
FOR THE YEAR 2011
HOWRAH DN.: 1 (OC), 1 (OBC) TOTAL = 2(TWO).
Total vacancy for the period 2010-2011 is 3 (THREE).
So,hurry up friends submit your application/ willingness immediately,i.e.,before 27.08.2012 and receive the original application form (OMG kit),fill it properly because the
