Error in Invoicing Registered Articles to Postman


 
                                                                                              In One of Our Post offices while entering registered article to postman in one of the Computers an error occurs a. This shows Error occurred in Registration Data entry and the action is cancelled by the application. On discussing this error with my colleges and  PTC Mysore. This error associates with the non upgradation of Postman application in that machine to update 1 of Meghdoot 7.0. While discussing this matter with PTC mysore they give an exl file to execute after upgration of postman application in the concerned machine to Update 1 of Meghdoot 7.0.

Variation in Minimum Wages in Different States

The Union Labour & Employment Minister Shri Mallikarjun Kharge has informed the Rajya Sabha that the norms recommended by the Indian Labour Conference (ILC), held in 1957 are taken into account while fixing the minimum wages. These are as follows: -
a) 3 consumption units for one earner.
b) Minimum food requirements of 2700 calories per average Indian adult.
c) Clothing requirements of 72 yards per annum per family.
d) Rent corresponding to the minimum area provided for under Government’s Industrial Housing Scheme.
e) Fuel, Lighting and other miscellaneous items of expe nditure to constitute 20% of the total minimum wage.

Mobile Telephone Facilities in Rural Areas


Under the Draft National Telecom Policy 2012, it is proposed to increase rural teledensity from current level of around 37 to 60 by 2017 and 100 by the year 2020. 

A scheme has been launched by Universal Services Obligation Fund (USOF) to provide subsidy support for setting up and managing 7353 infrastructure sites/towers in 500 districts spread over 27 states for provision of mobile services in the specified rural and remote areas, where there was no existing fixed wireless or mobile coverage. As on 31.01.2012, 7296 towers have been set up under the scheme. The infrastructure so created is being shared by up to three service providers for provision of mobile services. 

Mechanism to Lodge Online Complaints


A member of public can always approach the Minister concerned with a complaint for redressal of grievances. As per this Department’s guidelines, any grievance should be redressed within a period of maximum two months of its receipt. 

Complaints cannot be lodged on-line with the office of Minister concerned. They can be submitted manually in person and by post. For on-line lodging of grievances in general by members of public, Department of Administrative Reforms & Public Grievances has set up a web-based portal called Centralised Public Grievances Redress and Monitoring System (CPGRAMS), enabling citizens for lodging grievances from any geographical location and also viewing the status of redressal of the grievances. The Public Grievances portal can be accessed at http://pgportal.gov.in

Monitoring of Networking Sites

Government has notified Information Technology (Intermediaries guidelines) Rules, 2011 under Section 79 of the Information Technology Act, 2000. These rules provide for the intermediaries which includes social networking sites to observe due diligence and safeguards for prevention of hosting of obscene, blasphemous, pornographic, paedophilic, defamatory etc. material on their website. Further, sections 67, 67A and 67B of the Information Technology Act, 2000 provides stringent punishment and fine for publishing or transmitting obscene material in electronic form as well as for publishing or transmitting material containing sexually explicit act, or depicting children engaged in sexually explicit act.

Each Census in India since the first one in 1872, has attempted to capture the socio-economic, demographic and cultural diversity of this vast country and present it through measurable indices. In this attempt, each succeeding Census has attempted an improvement over the previous one.

Census of India 2011 was conducted in two phases. The first phase, called the “Houselisting and Housing Census” was undertaken a few months prior to the second phase termed as “Population Enumeration”. The objective of the Houselisting and Housing Census Operations is to identify each building/census house and also to ascertain the quality of the census house, amenities accessible to it and assets available to the households living in those census houses. The fundamental principle is to cover the entire country in a systematic manner without omission or duplication. The enumerator collects the required information by visiting each and every household and canvassing a written questionnaire called the Houselist and Housing Schedule. In Census 2011, a period of 45 days was given for this purpose. Every State/Union Territory chose this period in a time window starting April 2010 to September 2010 depending upon their convenience. Approximately twenty five lakh (or 2.5 million) enumerators and 2 lakh supervisors were engaged for this operation.

आधे से ज्यादा लोगों के पास है मोबाइल फोन


हो सकता है कि देश की जनसंख्या में से लगभग आधे लोगों के पास घर में अपना शौचालय नहीं हो, लेकिन वे मोबाइल फोन के बिना नहीं हैं।


मकान, घरेलू सुविधाओं और सम्पत्ति पर जारी वर्ष 2011 के मंगलवार को जारी आंकड़ों के अनुसार करीब 49.8 प्रतिश घरों के लोग खुले में शौच जाते हैं, लेकिन 63.2 प्रतिशत घरों में टेलीफोन कनेक्शन है जिसमें से 53.2 प्रतिशत के पास मोबाइल है।


इन आंकड़ों में केंद्रीय ग्रामीण मंत्री जयराम रमेश की ओर से हाल में की गई वह तीखी टिप्पणी प्रतिबिंबित हुई, जिन्होंने कहा था कि महिलाएं मोबाइल फोन की मांग करती हैं, लेकिन वे शौचालय की मांग नहीं कर रही हैं।

केन्द्रीय गृह सचिव आरके सिंह की ओर से जारी आंकड़ों के अनुसार भारत के 24.66 करोड़ घरों में से केवल 46.9 प्रतिशत घरों में ही शौचालय सुविधा है, जबकि 49.8 प्रतिशत खुले में शौच जाते हैं तथा 3.2 प्रतिशत लोग सार्वजनिक शौचालय इस्तेमाल करते हैं।

2. वार्षिक वित्तीय कथन 

यह बजट का मख्य दस्तावेज है, जिसमें आगामी वित्तवर्ष के लिए अनुमानित सरकारी आय और व्यय पर विस्तृत टिप्पणी होती है।

Railway minister announces 75 new trains, services

The Minister of Railways, Shri Dinesh Trivedi on Wednesday announced introduction of 26 new trains, extension of five existing trains, increase in frequency of two existing trains and introduction of new five sub-urban trains.

Most of these new services announced were part of the Railway Budget 2011-12. The trains announced in the Railway Budget 2011-12 are implemented by the end of the financial year i.e. 31st March 2012.

The number of Broadband connections provided by the end of December 2011 are 13.35 million. As per the objectives contained in draft National Telecom Policy 2012, it is proposed to Provide affordable and reliable broadband on demand by the year 2015 and to achieve 175 million broadband connections by the year 2017 and 600 million by the year 2020 at minimum 2 Mbps download speed and making available higher speeds of at least 100 Mbps on demand.

Highlights of Railway Budget 2012-13

RAILWAY BUDGET 2012-13


Passenger fares increased marginally. The increase will be by 2 paise per km for suburban and ordinary second class; 3 paise per km for mail/express second class; 5 paise per km for sleeper class; 10 paise per km for AC Chair Car, AC 3 tier and First Class; 15 paise per km for AC 2 tier and 30 paise per km for AC I.

Minimum fare and platform tickets to cost Rs. 5.

50% concession in fare in AC-2, AC-3, Chair Car & Sleeper classes to patients suffering from ‘Aplastic Anaemia’ and ‘Sickle Cell Anaemia’.

Extending the facility of travel by Rajdhani and Shatabdi trains to Arjuna Awardees.

Travel distance under ‘Izzat Scheme’ to increase from 100 kms to 150 kms.

SMS on passenger mobile phone in case of e-ticket to be accepted as proof of valid reservation.
